I am having the same problem after upgrading my laptop to XP yesterday. I have a
dlink di713p and DWL650. I was ultimately able to be able to see and get access
to files and shared printers by creating a second wireless ad-hoc connection. Unfortunately,
it was not stable and would lock up during the communication, either stopping the
print in the middle or locking up while opening a directory on the remote PC. In
addition, I would lose the internet connection through the router and need to power
it down and back up to get it too work even though the connection still showed OK
by XP. I am hoping a router firmware upgrade solves the problem. I need to get
my hands on an ethernet card as Dlink strongly discourages upgrading firmware over
a wireless connection. I am at version 2.55 and 2.60 is available. If someone
has the solution... I am interested!
