Problem Solved!
Here's the steps I took:
Removed all services expect TCP/IP from the connections, i.e. Clint for Microsoft
Networks; File & Print Sharing; and the QuS packet thingy
Upgraded to version 2.60b6a. I had to work through a two older version first...
and could not use the executable that came from Dlink. I used the Tools on the Router
Configuration page then selected upgrade firmware.
Reinstalled the network using the XP wizard and selected connect through a gateway.
Everything is super stable now. No problems and I can print and share files at my
leisure!
