I'd suggest you try the Microsoft update page to see if you need to load Critical and\or Driver updates. Open IE, click the Tools menu (at top window), then Click the 'Windows Update'. It should be self explanitory from there... But let M$ scan your pc and pick and choose which updates apply to your PC...
