If Ctrl+Alt+Del brings up the taskmgr... Then click File, click New Task (RUN...)...
Then type explorer.exe and press enter... I've seen this commonly on our network...
As we use SMS to push out updates (anti-virus definitions, new apps, etc...) and
not all the pc's are setup the same, meaning many pc's have been around for years
with older configurations... so the updates don't always work... but the explorer.exe
tip above should open to the desktop if the OS isn't completely hosed.... Best of
