I am having the same annoyance as being described here... I guess I can give a bit
more info into WHEN my system performs this shell restart..... I run Mozilla, which
never performs a crash and shutsdown with event ID 1002 and shell restart, but when
I use IE 6..... quite often I get the Event ID 1002, shell had to shut down and
restart... icons in tray dissapear and some reappear... It happens WHEN I open a
folder OR doubleclick IE6...... I try to use Mozilla Firebird whenever possible,
but have to use IE sometimes... I would much prefer to be able to fix this.... I
wonder if I reinstall IE6 everything would be okay? (prob not!) Please Help....
