Easy mate! Don't use Media Player. Use a better less spying intrusive one. BS Player
is a total dolly for xvid etc. & WinAmp's always had the stones for music (Winamp
3 even lets you cross-fade tracks!) Enjoy, and never forget: ***1*** from 'run' in
the start menu (remove the ''): 'RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\wmp.inf,Uninstall'
No fuss, no worries, you get a nice prompt 'Do you really want to uninstall windows
XP wmp9?', the HDD makes a fuss, you'll be asked to reboot...and gone is the s*ker!
& ***2***you can get Media Player Classic MPC 6.4.5.2 from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303
is the same old 6.4 but it has many updates and it requires way less resources than
9!
Respect to the original posters further up for these tips I am merely reproducing.
Pure genius, guys. We're lucky to have you. All the best to possibly the greatest
forum about also! JEDI OUT
