My Way has invaded my computer Monday, February 9, 2004 at 9:53 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by kidtamer (23 messages posted) My dear daughter downloaded Smiley Central onto MY computer and then realized that she had also added a bunch of spyward/adware with it. She deleted the files but not from the control panel. When I try to take "My Way Speedbar (outlook,outlook express & smiley central) I am told that the files cannot be found and they stay on the cp list. Does anyone know how to take them off of the control panel list? Also, thanks to that kind person who helped me yesterday. I found that "CoolWebSearch" had planted a Trojan on my machine. Merjin.com provided a search and destroy tool that found and deleted all of it. I wouldn't have known to even look for it without your help. THANKS again.
