Immediately, it went through 3 stages of checks including NT scandisk and found many errors, which were all corrected. Once finished, the drive was refitted to the original PC and it booted up fine. I then installed Ad Aware spyware checker and it it found 597 nasties !!!! Once rebooted all was again FINE Again the result of too much P2P downloading !!!!
