Oh lord.... I was doing some updates last night, and it failed. So I rebooted and
tried it again. It was .NET enviroment 1.1 and some other thing I forgot. Anyways
everytime I start windows now, all I get is dwwin stuck in the damn taskmanager not
letting any other program or window open. I tried the methods mentioned above. I
cant do a system restore or uninstall the update packages because I did a Windows
XP repair (booting the CD then repairing). When I disable dwwin, dwtsn32.exe starts
it again. If I disable dwtsn32.exe it crashed explorer.exe and then I have to run
explorer.exe from task manager again(sometimes explorer starts on its own). I do
have a logitech mouse and Zonealarm installed. I tried adding those to the expemtion
list for error reporting it didnt work. I tried the start /belownormal config in
the registry, same thing. I disabled error reporting and drwtsn32.exe went nutts
crashing and restarting explorer.exe over and over and over.... I wish i can back
up 40gb of stuff so I can do a clean install but as many of the people here, this
is out of the question >_< ...
Any more ideas?
