I also have a amd system and STILL beleive the issue is the amount of power your systems bios is sending at core voltage.. with everyone drawing power via usb/video these days the bios default settings isn't enough.I upped mine in small increments and now it is happily pushing a usb Webcam/mouse/Steering wheel/voice commander/joystick + gf4 happily. hth.
