I would like to thank you for helping me with my problem: the "file gone missing"
mscoree.dll. It was really starting to bother me. I do not delete or modify the system's
files or even access its folders and I do not understand why the computer is sending
me messages about errors it encountered, errors due to missing files (I had a problem
with "hpfsched" which I also solved using advice I found on this site). I do not
have anyone to ask for help so I decided to search the Internet when I saw that the
problem persisted. And I found this site; I read the answers to previously asked
questions and I solved my problem by going to www.dll-files.com, downloading the
file and unzipping it in the folder where the file was missing from.
The mscoree.dll file may not be a big deal, but for me it was important because
I do not have the money, the people and the time
necessary to buy and install new software and new hardware and every time I turn
on my computer and I see an error I think I'm going insane. I don't do much with
it, but I need it for communication, searching the web for information I need for
my faculty: essays, reports, god knows what, and mostly for projects. Every project
(no matter how insignificant and simple), every essay, report, e-mail (send/received)
etc is on this particular harddisk, so loosing everything would be a tragedy for
me. That's why I am a little paranoic when it comes to errors because I immediately
think I have a virus that will erase my entire HDD. Even my AntiVirus programme gave
me an error when I launched it the other day, but I updated its database and the
problem is no more.
I appologize for this long message and hope I didn't annoy anyone, even though I
don't think anyone had the patience to read this far or even read it at all.
P.S. Please forgive me if I have made spelling or any kind of mistakes, but english
is not my native language. Thank you again, Gina
