No free space on CD RW disc after UDF formatting with InCD

InCD from Nero can format a RW CD as UDF, but windows says that there is 170MB to
180 MB used and zero free space available on the formatted disc.
I ran the cleanpack.zip files from Nero support & rebooted the machine. This is
supposed to remove all
Non Nero UDF-software references from the system registry.
This did not help.
All UDF programs were uninstalled from the control panel.
This did not cause InCD to work either .
I then searched the c: directory for udf* files and found one that was called udf-reader-uninstaller
. exe ( by adaptec ).
After this file was run & the system rebooted the
adaptec unistall file was not present on the system anymore.
But guess what .... the Nero INCD started to work !!!
ie a green blob is visible in the taskbar INCD icon & there is free space on the
CD RW disc when a InCD UDF formatted CD is inserted into the drive.
