I got the cables and was able to view and hear a PowerPoint slide show a friend made on my tv using svideo. But I tried viewing a dvd that I burned and also tried viewing it directly off the laptop harddrive but NOTHING shows on the tv. Neither Windvd nor Windows Mediaplayer show any images.
