What Operating system and video card are you using? With my Windows Xp and Nvidia
G-Force 4, I use nvidia drivers and tell my computer to clone my output, so that
visuals show on both monitor and tv screen. Then I tell my computer to make my TV
the first device and computer second, that way I still have my computer on in case
my TV's resolution is too low to be able to read the text messages I receive, but
that way dvd images are displayed on the television first, thinking my tv's the primary
device. The blank dvd screen will be your computer instead, while you'll be able
to watch dvd on your television.
