Not really anything at all. I found this thread on google. Unfortunately I can't change my power supply. What seems weird though is that I can run knoppix (linux live CD) without errors. Other than that, I have the exact same problem, and you guiessed it, AMD. It seems this is common, but unplugging USB didn't help. I tried resetting ESCD or whatever, but that didn't work. My BIOS has nothing about ACSD or whatever that A thing was. Nothing I've tried has helped. Once inside windows XP, I can't seem to run System Restore, so that won't help.
