re: Network Cable Unplugged Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 3:07 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike (2 messages posted) - The only thing I've found that works for this is to power off the computer entirely, sometimes I even have to unplug the #$^#@!^$ thing, let it sit for 10 minutes, and restart, then XP notices the card and cable are intact. Warm boots give me the "network cable unplugged", and leaving it off for less than ~10 minutes doesn't fix the problem. this is just tapped.
