CWS Trojan Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 7:52 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mickey (15 messages posted) I just found out I have a CWS trojan virus Coolwebsearch trojan. It somehow got past my Norton anti virus. It will not allow me to start my shedder or Hijackthis. Can't seem to get rid of it. I have read that there is over 2 dozen variants of this virus and it attacks the registry. It also disabled my Task manager and I can't get it enabled. I'm going crazy here. Please help! Many thanks.
