Hey Guys ...
I somehow downloaded a trojan or virus on my computer and regardless of whether my
virus protector picks it up, it won't go away. Here are the circumstances ... yesterday
I was surfing for a research paper and "not so nice" web site came up on my search
and when I clicked on it, this program downloaded itself to my computer.
What it does it change my homepage to "about:blank" and there is this really annoying
popup that drives me crazy. It has slown my computer down by leaps and bounds. It's
really annoying, so I came here. No matter how many times I change my homepage, it
keeps changing it back to "about:blank" and this special "search for" thing pops
up as the homepage.
Does anyone have any suggestions that would help?
