An alternative solution is to delete Real One Player. Go to control panel, add/delete
programs, highlight Real Player, delete. I'm hoping i dont need real one player for
a while. If i do i will consider going back and following the advice above, but for
now my computer is up and running again, whereas, before realsched.exe was locking
up my computer by using 100% of the CPU all the time - you could see it in task manager.
Symtoms were extremely slow running and inability to open some files or application.
I got strange error messages like i was out of memory or quotas. My solution was
crude but simple and effective. realsched.exe was a major annoyance!
