I read your problem with interest as it exactly describes my experience today. Did
you find a solution?
I was looking to move to IXP for secrurity reasons - but failed as I too could not
set up user level access on the W98 system - that's when I turned to the internet
and found your message. My gut feel is that you need a complete NT like system to
do this (NT, W2000 or XP Professional) hence I don't think there is a solution for
our current configuration and I have gone back to TCP/IP....but if you know better....
