I'm writing to you regarding a post you made on Annoyances.org having to do with
two installations of Windows XP.
I'm having the same problem which you described (XP seems to be installed twice -
when booting, the system asks me which Windows I want to start).
Were you able to uninstall one of the copies? Formatting the drive is not an option
in my case. Additionally, I'm unable to use the second instance of XP on the machine,
as it's unregistered and has accounts to which I don't have the passwords (which
is the copy I want to remove from the system).
As a criticism of the other people who've posted in this thread, there were no responses
that were actually helpful in resolving the problem!! The *question* was how do
I uninstall one of the copies of XP on my system - which went totally unanswered.
Any suggestions?
