On a T20 I tried:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard
InitialKeyboardIndicators = 0
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard
InitialKeyboardIndicators = 0
Worked after the reboot too. --- T
