Hey Gabriel! Do not import anything from 98, it will mess your xp system up. All 
you have to do is 
1.)Goto the (Control Panel). 
2.)Dounle click on (Administrative Tools). 
3.)Double click on (Services).
4.)Go down to (Themes) & right click on it & then choose (properties).
5.)Goto where you see (stop) & then press stop.
6.)Just above that in the same window by [startup Type:]  It should be on Automatic, 
do not leave it like that, Change it to (Disabled).
7.)Click (Apply) Then Click (OK) 

Now your troubles should be over, remember never try to port Win 98 to XP because 
XP is on a whole other class that 98 is not on & plus it runs on top of the Windows 
NT/2000 based system that win95,98,ME is not even near close to. Good luck!
