I have a question about Explorer is reporting the wrong amount of free space (FAT32 Free Space Bug):

I have 30 gig drive which is broken up into two partitions. My 'C' drive is about 10 gigs, and the 'D' drive, about 20 gigs. The 'C' drive is NTFS, while the 'D' drive is FAT32. I am using Windows XP Pro.

The problem I have is when I delete files on 'D', especially large files, the free space doesn't show up. I am by-passing the recycle bin.

Does anyone know why this might be? Solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
