Rebecca, AOHell does not have a firewall and it is just my opinion, but you would
be better off in the long run by dropping AOHell and running a cheaper, less obtrusive
isp software such as netzero or others.
Second, the xp firewall is good at keeping things out, but no good at letting whatever
may be lurking in your computer already out to the net so if you use the xp firewall,
make sure your system is clean first.
third:
windows update is asking you to run .net because you still have it in services, don't
worry about it unless windows update refuses to let you install any updates.
The atm error:
if you are on dial up you don't really need it. IF Atm protocol shows in connection
properties you can uninstall it. If for some reason you get other errors after uninstalling
that protocol, you can always reinstall it.
