lsass.exe Error, with a twist

I'm having a similar problem. I know the common diagnosis is the Sasser worm. I'm
not discounting that as a possibility, however there are a few variants to my situation:
The comp rebooted earlier in the day with no problems upon reboot. However,
it did do an error report if that makes a difference. Then I installed XP Pro (upgrade
from XP Home) and on the first boot after the installation this started happening
I'm reading articles about how to stop XP from rebooting by going into a command
line and doing stuff there to expand the time it takes for XP to reboot, however,
it reboots before I even have a chance to do this.
This still happens in safe mode.
Since I had just installed XP Pro, I figured something happened while I did.
So I unplugged the Ethernet cable (and tried everything above again), and reinstalled
XP Pro. The problem still persists.
Is there something else I can do?
