(eg Precision Time, Save / Savenow, Gator / GAIN, any Toolbars esp Dashbar, media enhanced downloads ... Then get a good spyware program, and update it (very important - NB check the definitions as I have found that Adaware doesnt always update properly after installation, and I have to download the latest reference file and install it manually to get things working). Then run and clean off all the spyware. Adaware, Spybot are well regarded. and CoolWebShredder is great for specific homepage hijacks.
