Hi guys- I have a similar problem, only with a couple more complications. I have
suse linux 9.0 and XP. A power cut half way thorugh Pmagic NTFS resize meant that
I terminated the resize prematurely. Consequently, when booting XP, I have the autochk
+ xmnt2001 errors and then the Pc reboots. I can't change the Part Table Type to
07 from 3C using ptedit.exe (PowerQuest) cos it says unable to write changes. Also,
I can't modify the dirve using GRUB since Linux 9 doesn't support the SATA drive
on which my XP resides. Safe mode doesn't boot either. I can see the files I need
in Recovery mode (XP CD boot) but I have no access to them to copy them etc.
Any ideas (other than getting suse 9.1)?
