I actually had a friend whose computer was soing the whole 'shutdown after 1 minute'
thing bout a year ago. she never found out what it was, but it could have been from
the website "comet cursor" (which is actually a spywear threat, so delete it if you
have it.....) or from (surprisingly) installing a new printer....probably not the
second 1, but hey.....so, she got Norton, and it didn't work, but if you call the
maker of the computer's help line, tell them the problem, they should be able to
