I had the same error trying to connect two PC at home. Deinstalling the firewall, modifying the registry and any other suggested solutions on the web didn't solved the problem. Finally, i succeeded just by terminating the spooler during the local network configuration (open a command window and enter the command NET STOP SPOOLER and after the configuration is completed either reboot the PC or make NET START SPOOLER).
