I think that's part of the Wintools adware. If you updated all those programs before
running them, clear out all your temp folders, and run HJT and post a log.
Clear out your TIF and other temp files. Internet Options - General tab. Delete temporary
internet files - choose 'delete all Offline content'. Settings - set the size of
your TIF folder between 5 - 10 MB. Choose - View Objects - choose View Details on
the toolbar. If any ActiveX Controls are marked "unknown" or "damaged", remove them.
Plus, remove any you don't recognize. Drive-by ActiveX installs are a big problem.
Find - Files or folders - in the named box, type: *.tmp Select all - delete. Empty
C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp folder, if you have one. XP-> C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp (for all users). Empty Recycle bin.
Download 'Hijack This' Unzip 'HJT' into a folder other than a temp
folder. It creates backups. Close all browser windows. Run the Scan. Most of the
entries listed are necessary or required entries. Don't fix anything, until you know
which entries to fix.
What is a HijackThis log and how to research it
After the scan is finished, the Scan button will turn into Save Log. Press that and
paste the contents here. Before posting your message, choose this Option: Check
this box to preserve your spacing, etc....
