Auto update is unavailable on my pc per microsoft.com's security check.
I am the administrator/owner of this pc.
The Auto Update is grayed out when I right click on MyCompute r> Properties > Automatic
Updates Tab on System Properties.
When I go to Control Panel (Classic View) > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative
Tools > Services > Auto Updates is not in the list of Services (Local) so I am unable
to make any changes.
I have an eMachines W2646 -2.60 GHz Intel Celuron Processor- that I got on 6/22/2004
with Windows XP Home Edition SP1 already loaded, I guess that is called the OEM.
Auto Updates is supposed to be included as part of SP1.
How can I get Auto Updates on my pc?
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME ... YOU CAN EMAIL ME AT Buffylou@usadatanet.net with the solution.
Thank you.
Will this link get me the necessary download for auto updates?
