Tip about: How 
to Share Files through Windows XP's Internet Connection Firewall:

My solution: 1. Add Port 139 TCP as described in the above article. Details: I added all the ports mentioned above, but it still didn't work. After looking through the pfirewall.log (if you enabled logging, it's located in: C:\WINDOWS\pfirewall.log), I found Port 139 is what i needed to connect to my WinXP Pro from a WinXP Home. If you computer isn't sharing still, look through the log and open the ports you need. Be careful to look only for the IP addresses you are interested in (to find IP address of you XP machine: Start >> Run >> "cmd" >> "ipconfig"). Great article other than this.
