prob solved Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 10:43 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by byrhubarb (2 messages posted) hello i have had this prob 4 ages now but after spending an hour on the phone to microsoft i have found the problem yay r u ready? open the startbar and openthe run command. type regedit ok on the left click + for hkey_local_machine then + for sotware + for microsoft + for windows nt + currentversion now click on winlogon now to the right right click allocatecdroms modify change the value to 0 and the same for the floppy if the value was allready on 0 then i cant help sorry but this worked for me hope this helps Written in response to: My XP .CAB files don't.......
