Wow! I've been searching for patches, downloads, service packs.... during months.
It's a problem when a parent window can't be accessed from its child window. But
it's even more problematic when you simply cannot do a Windows Update!
The most curious thing is that I got into the forum after completing a 9-steps manual......
and finally there was a link to this forum. Ironic.
