the error is cause by some incompatibility of winXP and all other ntfs system, this
error happens if your using a motherboard that uses a processor lower than P4, means,
youre using socket 370 or lower, this error had never been known with P4 and AMD
motherboards, NOTE: another thing, the error is also only present when youre using
a dial_up internet connection. If youre using an old (socket 370 and below) motherboard,
change to dsl or cable connection and you will do just fine with old models.
but if you cant afford, go back to win98 2nd edition, or if you really want XP, fine.
when you install xp, format your os to use fat32, not ntfs
