Please just leave the directory and the sfcfiles alone. They ARE in fact essential
to the XP operating system. I learned the hard way, and had to replace what was so
easily removed. If you ever have to run the DirectX Diagnostic tool from Run (dxdiag),
it will fail w/o these files. There are plenty of "ghosts" in XP, but this is not
one. I tried to free up hard drive space by clearing as much as possible, and fell
for this trick. Don't. If you don't KNOW what it does, leave it alone or call Support.
