I have a simular problem when installing RedAlert2 on WindowsXp, shortly after I klicked on install a message appears claiming that windows encounted a problem with setup.exe. I've installed the same game/cd/image-files on 3 other computers with no problems, i made isos (works on other computers) and install also failed on them. My drivers/bios/servicepacks/directx are all the newest on the planet!!! My Config: Xp sp1 + directx 9c (erlier 9a) Athlon Xp 1600 Asus A7M266 vga - TNT2M64 32MB audio - cmedia onboard ram - ddr 266?, 2100 512Mb
