OK i know this is an old thread but this did not work for me. Once I close Windows Explorer while holding down Alt then open it back up it works it remains how i like it. And if i open any other program and then try it it still works. But when i open Internet Explorer then try to open it it, it opens to its full annoying screen. I dont know why this started but it is really annoying.
