Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 1:39 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by edesider (26 messages posted) Does anybody here knows what Microsoft TUN miniport adapter is? I have two in my network adapters under Device Manager. Both are enabled, and while the first one is started, the second cannot be started so it has the yellow "!" on it. It cannot be uninstalled saying it's required for XP at bootime. I have searched Microsoft, Google, Forums, but found no answers. I removed all networking components in XP, but it's still there.
