XP Service Pack 2 and Explorer Status bar Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 5:40 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Pixelskin (1 messages posted) Just installed SP2. Now when I open Explorer or My Computer, the Status Bar goes missing. If I then click View Status Bar and close explorer, it then disappears when I reopen Explorer. I have tried various combinations in the 'View Folder Options' - Remeber each folder's view...Apply to All Folders etc etc, but nothing seems to work. Anyone else experience this and any help greatly appreciated.
