Blue screen at start up after installing SP2 Friday, August 27, 2004 at 8:54 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike Smith (8 messages posted) i am getting a Blue screen at start up that is saying: STOP: C0000135 {Unable to Locate Component} This application has failed to start because winsrv was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. Does any on know if this is just a problem with the installation of SP2 or just a problem with SP2 in general? And is there a fix for it?
