Question about 'Rename the Recycle Bin'

I followed the instructions in Annoyances.org regarding renaming the recycle bin
manually. When I got to "Double-click Default and type the new name" the window
would not let me type in it. I would appreciate any help you can give me with this.
It's not important, but it is a challenge! Thanks in advance.
