This is what I found. XP would boot up but I got (paser message value creation failed
on line 34). Once I got logged on it would not shut down, nor would system restore
work. After running my spyware and virus scan, which turned up nothing. I finally
unistalled SP2 (service pack 2). It restored everything back to normal and it all
works fine now.
