Add me to the LONG list of happy readers of this thread. Angela and Cam -- your
solution worked beautifully. I had 3 different "controlsets" and had to delete the
UpperFilter and LowerFilter from each to get my CD and DVD drives back. Worked like
a charm. I started out this evening thinking I had a hardware disconnect and ended
the evening with a fixed registry. Thanks a million!!!!!
