Okay, I've had the same problem. All the sudden my auto run wouldn't work. I have
XP Home os. I think part of it is when I ran the XP service pack 2. I've tried
the register thing and so much more. I finally did a short cut on my desktop of
the drive. Right click and boom hit the autoplay. Much easier that going to my
computer....BUT it wasn't as good as putting the disk in and have the autoplay work,
RIGHT???? Okay, so did anyone else just load up the xp service pack 2??? I read
one post about Microsoft office/word etc 2000 and I thought hey, I'll try that.
Well sure enough, I removed the office 2000 and it works!!! Not that I really wanted
to replace this program, but my Outlook wont work on this computer, but works on
3 others I have, go figure. IF anyone else has loaded the new service pack 2 for
xp and suddenly has problems like these, I'm betting that's what caused it. Who
thinks Microsoft wants us to buy new software?????
