userinit.exe-application error Friday, November 12, 2004 at 11:26 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ren (22 messages posted) This error comes out when im trying to log into my user accounts (Userinit.exe-application error, the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on ok to terminate the application. Thats what the box says when i click on one of my user accounts. The only way it runs properly is in safe mode.
