Actually, the "Puffy" interface is not required. All you have to do is change the
Theme in the Display settings to Windows Classic, and then you won't have to worry
about it.
And as for instability, I've actually been able to run my XP computer for at least
a week at a time. It may be because I have Professional and not Home (among other
things, like using Opera 7 instead of IE), but meh.
