Hi all,
Met the same problem with a bunch of SB16 ISA CARDs ...
Solved it using default WDM driver (SB16 and AWE32 compatible) AND using settings
IRQ5 DMA3 DMA0 because XP defaults them to IRQ9 DMA3 DMA0 ... since those ISA cards
event tho they're plug n play for most, doesn't support IRQ9 as base adress you encounter
the NO SOUND under XP problem ...
NExt problem is Windows XP does not support Gain BASS and TREBLE control for these
cards ...
Looks like Creative won't do a move ...
Time to go Linux ?
cheers,
kshirow
