re: sound device error Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 6:27 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mr. Stress (2 messages posted) Hi everyone, i am absolutely stressed out by this problem, i spent on countless searchng but still no solution. All my audio devices says that it is working properly but then next to location on all of them it says unknown. Also when i go to sound and audio devices in control panel it says that i have no audio device, this stupid computer contradicts itself >.< . When i click on audio and sound from there all the sound options are unavailable for me to click on! I don't know anythng about computers all i know is that my sound was working before but it stopped after i rebooted it and downloaded windows sp2. Also, i have 'swenum.sys' and 'streamci.dll' under plug and play software device enumerator, could this be one of the problems? Thanks!
